Coming Soon: Austin 412
Built in 1900,
Austin 412 served as a homestead for over 50 years close to the heart of Main St. for the German immigrants who lived here. For decades, Fredericksburg has been a place that many people return to regularly. The wildflowers, peaches, and German heritage have always been an attraction and Austin 412 was transformed into one of the earliest bed and breakfasts in town by the original family that owned it. It has been the setting for many refreshing returns over the years and now, in 2018, it has experienced a makeover to bring its 100 years of character into the the realm of modern convenience.
For people who..
Enjoy modern farmhouse design near the center of town. Austin St. is one of the best streets to walk early in the morning and late evening. Dawsie fell in love with it walking past it daily and has passionately renewed its vitality over the course of the remodel. Austin 412 is just a short walk to food, live music, and shopping, so if you are interested in a pedestrian, small town experience, and like walking to and from dinner, this setting is perfect.
If you’re looking for something more pastoral and “country” we recommend one of The Gathering Guesthouses.
